Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on form of care rooted in a deep understanding of anatomy and human motion. What makes the osteopathic practice unique is its consideration of the body as an integrated, self-healing and self-regulating “system of systems” in an interconnected mechanical chain. Pain and health issues often occur when “weaker links” are aggravated by mechanical strains occurring elsewhere in the chain. Osteopathic care aims to relieve the mechanical strains in the chain in order to promote the space for those weaker links to heal, encouraging your body to take care of your symptoms on its own.
Osteopathic manual practitioners can help to manage a range of previously diagnosed conditions like arthritis, sciatica, headaches, vertigo, indigestion, GERD/acid reflux, constipation, painful menstruation, repetitive strain and overuse injuries, circulation issues, sleep issues, and more.
